Equipment & Books

We were awarded grants in 2008 from Bradford Council and the National Lottery, and this enabled us to buy several items of modern woodturning equipment, and a state-of-the-art AV system for woodturning demonstrations.

We have a number of resources including variable-speed lathes & turning tools and associated equipment, so that members can learn and practice turning skills during meetings.

We also have specialist items such as texturing tools, pyrography and a pen mandrel, which members can hire out.

We can also offer on-site tuition from a number of experienced turners.

We have insurance cover for Public Liability and all our Equipment.   We use the AV System to support the scheduled Demonstrations we have from professional woodturners.
